This afternoon members of Peru Crew and their families gathered at the Magners's house for an afternoon filled with great food and conversation. We are 6 days away from getting on that plane and the excitement is palpable.
I am sure that I echo my students' sentiments when I say getting through next week is going to be our biggest challenge. It is tough to care about homework when visions of swimming in the Amazon dominate your thoughts.
This trip would not be happening without the support of our families so to spend our last Sunday at home with them before we leave, well there couldn't have been any better way to spend the day.
